I feel like Jaxon has officially grown up. He graduated from preschool, and has now started playing t-ball. He is at such a fun age, and I am loving every minute of it. At preschool, he got awarded the "Best Colorer" award. He is very articulate about both his coloring, and his cutting. Jaxon is SO excited to start kindergarten - I just don't know what he'll do without his cousin Tate there with him??

Jaxon actually does really well hitting the ball. I was kind of surprised how hard he hits...

Kenadee had her spring dance recital over the weekend. It was sooo stinkin cute! She has really taken to dance, and is doing so well! She is going to be so sad this summer when she doesn't get to go. The recital went really well, and I'm so glad it did. I was a little worried because she has the most sensitive skin, and is SOOO picky about the material of her clothes. When I saw her costume that she had to wear, I knew she was going to freak out...and I was right. It was a fight to get it on her. She had to wear a leotard and tights underneath, and we had to tape up her arms everywhere the material touched her. If you look closely, you can see the tape peeking out at the bottom of her sleeves. But it worked, and she did great!

And lastly, I just had to post about Rob. Last night, he told me that I could just take the night off and go shopping and that he would take care of the kids. I was thinking how awesome this was going to be. So I spent the night relaxing and shopping. When I got home, I noticed the back gate was open, so I went to shut it, and this is what I found out back (minus the kids).

When I came in the house, I had all the kids (Rob included) attack me with "can we keep it, can we keep it?" And I was thinking, well it's a little late to be asking since you've already blown it up and played on it....

So anyway, we how have this really huge, really expensive, blow up waterslide thing in the back yard. I'm sure our house is going to be a hit this summer!

Happy Birthday Callie!

She's One!! I can't believe it's been a year since Callie joined our family. She is and always has been such a great baby. Besides her mom, her favorite person in the world is Jaxon. Her dad is a close third, but I think Jaxon has him beat. She figured out the whole walking thing about 2 weeks ago, and hasn't looked back. Now that she can walk, that's all she wants to do! She is saying more and more words each day...so far the list includes: mom, dad, Jacky, thank you (dee do), cheese (whenever there is a camera in sight), squeeze, and doggy. She gives the best kisses, and the tightest hugs. She is such an affectionate baby and we all love her so much. What a joy she is to our family!

For her party, we celebrated at Grammy and Papa's pool and clubhouse. It was such a beautiful day, and we had a blast. Thanks everyone for coming and for all the gifts. Callie now has a new wardrobe, and some great toys.

As we were filming Callie opening her presents, the video camera battery died, and we didn't have the charger. So we postponed the "cake smash" until after we got home so we could have it on film. Callie liked the cake for about the first 2 licks, and then she was done. She just crumbled the rest up and threw it on the floor.

We love you so much Callie! You are such a blessing to our family!
