Blake LOVED his smash cake. He didn't really get into the smashing part of it...he mostly just ate it. And he ate EVERY bite of it.
We got Blake a new swing to hang on our swingset. It's still in the packaging, but I know that he's gonna love it ;)
Jax got to be the "King" at school the week of his birthday. I was able to go in and read a story to his class and take in a treat. I took "hot dog donuts", and they were a HIT!
Jax had an extended birthday, celebrating 3 different times. We had a BBQ party with his "Richey" side of the family, went to the movies and had pizza with his friends, and did swimming and pizza with his "Esplin" side of the family. What a spoiled kid!
We got him a basketball hoop for the backyard, and he is actually pretty good. Look out Jimmer!
I ran my first 10K last month. It was awesome! I am planning to do a 1/2 marathon in July, and am a little worried about it. I did learn a good lesson in the 10K, though. I started out WAY too fast, so by mile 4, I was dead! I know now to slow it down a little more in the beginning so that I don't die at the end...we shall see...
I finished the 10K in 49 min 40 sec, which is an 8.01 min mile. All I wanted to do was get under a 9 minute mile, so I'm happy with it.

YOU AMAZE ME! Way to go.....can't believe how big the boys are getting...they are so dang cute! What a lucky guy to have 3 bday parties! Miss you guys! BTW-you look amazing! Way to go girl!!!!
Cute pictures, Holly. I didn't connect their birthdays were so close together...even though I knew.
Linc was baptized when we blessed Kade, so the age difference will be OK. They will have fun together!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY cutie Blake and Jaxon! Run Holly, RUN! I'm SO proud of. That's awesome! I WISH I LIKED RUNNING! Pretty soon you won't need a car, you'll be runnin' everywhere, with you pants on the ground cause your booty's too small to hold them up:) HEeehee! Sweet job on the hotdog treats too. They look real. SO FUN! Already miss you guys.
I'm so confused, is it a hot dog or a donut? I love donuts, but I'm not sure I could get on board with a hot dog in the middle. Great job (again) on the 10K. You pretty much slaughtered your under 9 min/mile plan:)
No, Heather, it's not a hot dog in a doughnut. It is basically a chocolate doughnut inside of a glazed doughnut. And the "ketchup/mustard" on top is just red and yellow frosting. It was pretty trippy just how much it looked like a real hotdog, though..
Cute pics!! I can't believe we have 7 year olds! Crazy!! We need to get together soon!!
What the heck are twinkie hotdogs? I think they might look good....I'm sure my boys would love them! Happy birthday big boys. We sure love and miss you guys! xxoo
