We celebrated Thanksgiving Day and ate dinner at my mom's this year (Rob's family celebrated earlier). After dinner, all of the girls and my dad went and saw the movie "Twilight". During the first part of the movie, I was sure I was going to be disappointed, but I ended up really liking it! We are planning to go see it again sometime this week with some friends so that Rob can watch it. Maybe after he sees it, he will be convinced to read the books . . . maybe. I think he would like them, but he's not so sure.
We had Thanksgiving 3 weeks early this year with Rob's family because Rhondelle and Ronnie came down and we just celebrated while they were here. We don't get to see Rhondelle and her kids very often, so it was fun to have them here.

Sadly, black Friday has come and gone. It is one of my favorite days of the year. I think it's the shopping with no kids that I love! This year was crazy - it seemed a lot busier than last year. But thanks to my mom, Summer, and Trisha, we were able to spread out and get nearly everything that we all wanted.
After I got home from my crazy day shopping, I got my tree put up. I have way too much furniture, and squishing a tree in the living room was hard to do, but I did it!
And I somehow convinced Rob to put lights up on the house again this year. I don't know if it was worth it, though. He is still complaining that his legs are sore from all of the walking on the roof that he had to do. I DO have to give him props, though, they look great!
Yes, that is Jaxon up on the roof with Rob - he snuck up there while I was busy with the tree. I got outside just in time to stop Kena from joining them.

I'm sad we weren't there! Your tree looks so cute. I think that is the perfect spot. Miss you guys!
That's funny..Rob complaining about how sore he is. Sometimes it is just easier to do things yourself!! Kena makes me nervous up on that ladder!! That would be Avery for sure!
Happy Thanksgiving...your tree looks awesome. Way to go Rob on making yourself useful...miss you all!
Your kids are WAY too brave for me. Isn't it such a great feeling when you've had a successful shopping day? My black friday was the same as yours, and I do think it's the shopping without kids that makes it so great.
I love your tree. Tell Rob he needs to start working out if walking on the roof makes him sore:)
How fun! Your tree looks so good, I know about the whole space thing, ours is cramed into a corner. I can't believe that Jaxon climbed on the roof with his Dad, what a boy, That was too funny that Kenadee was going up there too. We miss you guys and hope to see you this coming summer.
Cute pics. I can't believe you crazy people who shop on black friday. So brave!
your tree looks so great! I can't beleive Jack got on the roof. I tagged you by the way. I want to see your fridge.
Tell Rob to stop his whining!!!! It is for the kids not for us huh!!! How fun your tree is so pretty I love it!!! It looks like you had a nice Thanksgiving how fun to be with your family!!!
Tell Rob to stop his whinning...Last year I put up our lights the day after an ice storm, so at least he was up there with just a t-shirt on. Jaxon is so cool.
The tree looks great! All the girls went to Twilight too, and like you, I was sure I was going to be disappointed. That's the way to do it though, go in with low expectations, and then you'll come out so happy! I LOVED it so much, can't wait to see it again.
I am protesting Twilight! I loved the books and I LOVE to read but I HATE watching movies at the theater! I know, Im a retard but thats just how I feel. I am glad you liked it tho! We still dont have lights up.......and Im undecided if we will get em up. HOpe you have a great Christmas!
The crazy thing isn't that Jaxon on the roof, but that you actually got Rob up there to put up Christmas lights! Holy crap, Mr Freaking Scrooge himself on top of the roof hanging christmas lights amazing! Job well done.
